In the Maglev Long Yang Road Station
there are a few meeting rooms and VIP meeting halls where
the ex-Chinese Premier Zhu Rongji and German Chancellor
Gerhard Schroeder were accorded a grand reception in 2003.
Later, many receptions were given to many Chinese leaders
at various levels and heads of a lot of countries.
 In
July 2004, Siemens AG held its centennial anniversary
celebration at the Maglev Long Yang Road Station.
In March 2005, Bank of China and Shanghai Maglev Transportation
gave a news briefing for their cooperation item also at
the station.
